Mommy's First Official Day Back to Work & School

Today is both a day I dreaded and a day I have looked forward to. Half of me wants to spend the rest of my days at home with my baby and the other half of me wants to go to school full time forever. It's taken a lot of prayer and support from my husband and family and even my job to get the motivation to get back to school. It's only been a couple of semesters but it has been almost nine months.

So here we are, the day we've been waiting for. It's going rather well already and it's only 8 am! My boy woke up at 6:30 to Dada getting out of the shower which meant we had a nice morning hanging out with him until he left for work. We had time for morning cartoons with breakfast and bath time. We are already to go at 8:15 meaning we can have snuggle/nursing time before out car ride to meet up with my mom/Mema and I have time to write!

Of course I'd rather him sleep in the car, it's really nice to snuggle with him before I'm away from him all day.

Dear Lord,

Thank you for the opportunity of education. Thank you for your guidance and providing us with support and strength. It truly takes a village and raise a child and I am so thankful for the village you have provided us.

Lord, be with our families as we go in to this school season. Bless us with wisdom, strength, patience and love. Let our babies, school age children and even those children going off to college feel the secure love of You and their parents as they are in the hands of their instructors.

God, guide us through your plans for us, help each of us to shine with your love and grace. Help us to draw others closer to You. Let all we do, be done for You.
